Harsh Lunia is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H). He initiated his thesis research at the Center for Visual Information Technology (CVIT) in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. CV Jawahar. His current research focuses on scene text recognition for Indic Languages.

Ajoy Mondal is a post-doctoral fellow at CVIT, IIIT Hyderabad, India. He received a Ph.D. in computer science from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India 2018. He published more than 47 articles in the reputed journals and conferences. His research interests include document image processing,deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, pattern recognition, and image processing. He has served as a viewer for several journals (e.g., IEEE Trans. on PAMI, IEEE Trans. on Image Processing, IEEE Trans. on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, ACM Computing Surveys, Applied Soft Computing) and previous conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, BMVC, WACV, ICDAR, ICFHR, ICVGIP).

Prof. C V Jawahar, IIIT, Hyderabad is Amazon Chair Professor at IIIT Hyderabad, and leads a research group that focuses on computer vision, machine learning and intelligent systems. Prior to joining IIIT Hyderabad, he has worked with the Center for AI and Robotics. His primary interest is a set of problems that overlap with vision, language, text and retrieval. In the past, he has served as achair for many national and international conferences such as program chair for ACCV, ICDAR, ICVGIP and WACV; Area chair for CVPR, ICCV, IJCAI, ACCV, AAAI; Workshop/Tutorial chairs for ACCV, ICVGIP, NCVPRIPG etc. He is an area editor of CVIU and an associate editor of IEEE Trans. on PAMI.
